Washington, D.C. – Field Stern, Managing Director, Investments, and Head of Capital Markets for Redwood Capital Group, was named the 2022 Chair of the National Multifamily Housing Council’s Emerging Leaders program at NMHC’s Annual Meeting in January.
He will be supported by Rishi Gupta, Managing Director of Eagle Rock Advisors, LLC, and Tessi Dahlen, Vice President of Asset Management at Bell Partners, as Vice Chairs.
The program, which was created in 2011, cultivates future leaders in the apartment industry by hosting events that enable them to develop their peer network and to meet and learn from top industry leaders.
“Since it was created 11 years ago, our Emerging Leaders program has truly become the place where our industry’s next-generation leaders are identified,” said Doug Bibby, NMHC President. “Several of its alumni have since ascended to the CEO position in their firms and are actively leveraging the network they built through the program to help steer their companies.”
“The Emerging Leaders program is very fortunate to have the full support of NMHC and I am excited about serving as Chair this year,” said Field Stern. “I’m fortunate to surround myself with a diverse group of unique and talented individuals and am confident that together we will execute a strong and expanded program of work in 2022. I am also grateful to my predecessor and all other former members for getting this committee to where it is today.”
