NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) codes are how the Federal government classifies businesses. There are several different levels of industry classifications—for the Small Business Administration loan program, the six-digit NAICS code is required. There are multiple NAICS codes that multifamily firms may fall under depending on business operations.
