Addressing immigration, tax reform, telecommunications, housing finance reform, data breach and the regulatory environment will go a long way to ensure the apartment industry can meet the growing demand for rental housing and strengthen communities nationwide.
“For the apartment industry to meet the needs of our 37 million residents, we must build at least 300,000 new apartments each year just to keep up. Doing so will require removing barriers to development at the local, state and federal levels. We look forward to continuing to work with the Obama Administration and Congress on these critical issues.
