As of February 19, 2025, 17 of President Trump’s Cabinet level positions have been successfully confirmed, surpassing the confirmation pace of previous administrations. The Senate, holding a Republican majority, has largely supported his selections, though some nominations have sparked significant debate.

Scott Turner was confirmed as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development on February 5, 2025, by a Senate vote of 55-44. Turner, a former NFL player and Texas state representative, previously served as the executive director of the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council during President Donald Trump's first term. As Secretary, Turner will oversee a $70 billion budget and approximately 8,000 employees, focusing on reducing housing costs and addressing the nation's homelessness crisis.
Lee Zeldin, Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, former Congressman from New York, was confirmed with a 56-42 vote. Upon assuming office, Administrator Zeldin launched the "Powering the Great American Comeback" initiative on February 4, 2025. This plan aims to fulfill the EPA's mission of protecting human health and the environment while stimulating economic growth.
Chris Wright, Secretary of Energy, former CEO of a major energy company, was confirmed with a 59-38 vote. In line with the administration's agenda, Secretary Wright is focused on restoring American energy dominance by promoting deregulation and innovation across the energy sector. He has expressed readiness to enhance U.S. energy production, emphasizing its importance for the economy, national security and maintaining low energy prices.
Scott Bessent, 79th U.S. Secretary of the Treasury on January 28, 2025, following Senate confirmation by a 68–29 vote. Prior to his nomination, Bessent was a prominent investor and hedge fund manager, serving as a partner at Soros Fund Management and founding Key Square Group, a global macro investment firm.
