As the 2017 NMHC OPTECH Conference & Exposition approaches quickly, we’re excited to reveal this year’s Launch Pad top ten semifinalists.
Launch Pad is celebrating its 6th anniversary this year and has remained the multifamily industry’s leading tech start-up competition and premier showcase of new and innovative multifamily technology solutions.
The industry’s newest innovators have applied and a panel of industry expert judges narrowed down the competition to the following tech startups offering a broad spectrum of multifamily products and services.
- Bark Buildings
Bark Buildings is a tech enabled pet care startup that's redefining dog friendly. Its model is centered on pet amenity programs and paid pet care services aimed to turn "doggy neighbors into doggy friends,” while creating a meaningful experience for dog owners. - Fetch
Fetch is the first off-site package solution for property managers. By accepting packages in centralized warehouses and coordinating door-to-door delivery with residents, Fetch completely eliminates the time and space devoted to packages for properties. - Lineups
Lineups.io is a marketing intelligence platform that presents your data and competitor data in a format everyone can relate to-the customer journey. Lineups.io breaks down the customer journey into three stages and scores each of these stages as a weakness, strength or threat. - RentPlus
RentPlus is the first company to provide rental data to credit reporting giants Transunion and Equifax. This year the company is releasing a full credit reporting integration and now residents can view, manage and report their rent and utility payments. - Rhino
Rhino replaces security deposits with a simple, new insurance contract that’s better for both renters and property owners and managers. Instead of a large, upfront security deposit, renters pay a small monthly fee and landlords receive double the protection for the same items covered by security deposits. - roOmy
roOomy's patented 3D, augmented and virtual reality technologies allows real estate professionals to stage properties virtually. This gives renters the power to visualize themselves in their desired space and make their new home selection process easier. - STRATIS
STRATIS provides multifamily and campus community owners and managers with remote management and control capabilities for access, energy and automation-advanced features that had previously been cost prohibitive to all but the largest budgets. - Unit Map
Unit Map is a "maps as a service" platform that creates, catalogs and syndicates multifamily map files for unit-based data visualization. The Unit Map platform connects data about a property to the specific physical spaces of that property. - Urbandoor
Urbandoor's booking platform offers companies a better solution to their typically hard-to-manage extended stay lodging solutions. This on-demand technology platform enables multifamily owners and operators to utilize their vacant inventory while adding no extra on-site staff. - WhereiPark
WhereiPark is the only online marketplace connecting consumers and corporations with vacant apartment building parking spots for month-to-month rental. WhereiPark unlocks a new revenue stream for multifamily operators by matching parking supply with parking demand from individuals and companies in the surrounding area.
Congratulations to all the Launch Pad semifinalists and thank you to our judges who thoughtfully reviewed every single application.
Industry judges have narrowed this group to the four finalists who are competing live at OPTECH in Las Vegas, Oct. 25-27. The winner takes home a $5,000 prize and a complimentary Advisory Committee membership.
