Last week’s annual NMHC Student Housing Conference and Exposition in New Orleans drew the biggest crowd ever in the
event’s 14-year history.
The student housing market continues to perform extremely well, driving appetite for more investment in the sector from capital sources, as well as supplier partners.
This hunger for deals was a common theme on the program, which covered the sector’s demand outlook, capital flows, design trends, operational challenges and more.
Given this climate, the fast-pitch DealTank competition was another success, with four of the competitors earning invites to another round of discussion with executives from the judges panel.
The exhibit hall also provided a great opportunity for student housing executives to network and explore new products and services.
