Photography/Videography Policy – Attendee Agreement to be Photographed
By attending this event, you agree to be photographed and filmed, and allow those images to be copyrighted, published, disseminated and otherwise used by the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and its subsidiaries in perpetuity and throughout all media. You may choose to opt-out of allowing NMHC and its subsidiaries to copyright, publish, disseminate and otherwise use your identifiable likeness by completing the required opt-out forms onsite at NMHC HQ during each event.
Social Media and Blog Policy
The National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) welcomes and encourages the use of social media and blogging before, during and after official NMHC events. For the safety and security of attendees and staff, location-specific information—such as the official event hotel name and location—may not be posted to social media, blogs and similar digital media platforms.
Guidelines – Attendees Should Adhere to the Following:
Do:
- Tag NMHC in your posts (LinkedIn: @National Multifamily Housing Council / X: @ApartmentWire).
- Post photos and comments about the general session and concurrent sessions.
- Use NMHC’s logo within your posts, in compliance with our brand guidelines.
- Adhere to NMHC’s Values & Expectations in your social media postings related to NMHC events.
Don’t:
- Post video or audio recordings captured in sessions, workshops and committee meetings.
- Post photos from sessions, meetings and other official gatherings which are “closed door,” “invitation only,” or similar limitations to access.
- Post photos, video or audio recordings of presentations without explicit permission by NMHC or the presenter.
- Post photos, video or audio recordings of attendees without their explicit permission.
