As a trade advocacy organization, NMHC was founded by its members to help educate and inform policymakers and regulators about how their actions impact our sector’s ability to deliver and maintain the housing this country so desperately needs. What does it mean to be engaged in that process and how are the skills of effective business advocacy different from business leadership?
In our first WIM series of the year, NMHC’s SVP of Government Affairs, Cindy Chetti, will talk with member advocates about how participating in advocacy for good business policies affected their approach to leadership and reinforced their commitment as stakeholders in the economy. Hear from member leaders about why they engage in government relations on behalf of their business and the industry.
