Conference Cancellation Information
Due to Hurricane Ian – the 2022 NMHC Student Housing Conference has been cancelled. All paid registrations will be refunded. It may take between 7-10 business days for credits to be processed.
Hotel Room Cancellation
Loews Miami Beach Hotel Room Cancellations:
- If you cancelled your room booked within the NMHC room block at the Loews and were charged a cancellation fee:
The fee will be refunded by the hotel’s Customer Engagement Center this week, subject to credit or debit card processing time. - If you have not cancelled your room booked in the room block:
The hotel has cancelled your reservation with no cancellation fee.
If you have questions regarding your room cancellation or refund, please contact the hotel directly at (305) 604-5495.
- For attendees who booked at Loews Miami Beach outside of the NMHC room block or at another hotel
You will need to work directly with the hotel on room cancellation.

If you booked a hotel room at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, you must contact the hotel directly at (305) 604-5495 to cancel your hotel reservation. Please note NMHC is working with the hotel to try to get cancellation fees waived for room reservations made through our group block; however, Loews is currently charging their normal cancellation fees.

Sponsor Event and Meeting Room Rental Information
All requests for event or meeting space during an NMHC meeting on hotel property require NMHC approval. Any request made directly through the hotel for event or meeting space, including hospitality suites, will be forwarded to NMHC for approval. Event space and meeting rooms will not be assigned to non-sponsor firms.
Subgroup/Affiliate Evening Events: Sponsors at the Chair's Circle, Friends of the Council, or Conference Sponsor (any level) levels may submit a request to host an evening event at the Loews. Event times may not conflict with NMHC program hours. To request an event at the Loews, please review the Sponsor Subgroup/Affiliate Event Policies and then submit the Subgroup Event Request Form. Event space will be assigned in the order request forms are received.
Meeting Room Rentals: Sponsors at the Chair's Circle, Friends of the Council, or Conference Sponsor levels are eligible to rent a meeting room at Loews, based on availability. Inventory is limited and there is a wait list. Please contact mrowan@nmhc.org to be added to the wait list for a meeting room rental.
Unreserved tables and lounges will be available to all attendees to use in The Hub. Please view the agenda for hours.

Meeting Kiosks
A Meeting Kiosk is highly visible, casual, and cost-efficient way for your company to market, display, and demo your products, and meet with your customers during the Conference! Meeting Kiosks will be centrally located in The Hub, an open space for attendees to use throughout the conference that will include lounge seating, workspace tables, coffee and snack stations, a bar, and more!
Kiosks do not require staffing, allowing your company’s representatives to network, attend sessions, and frequent the kiosk as needed for meetings and demos.

NMHC will not have additional COVID health and safety protocols. However, we will have a health station on-site for attendees not feeling well or in need of COVID testing during conference hours.
