NMHC’s Annual Meeting is On! COVID-19 Safety Requirements
Absent a national or state lockdown, NMHC is planning to hold our Women’s Event, Apartment Strategies Conference and Annual Meeting. We will have health and safety protocols in place, however. Namely, all attendees must either: (1) present proof of vaccination; OR (2) provide a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of their first day attending the conference AND complete a daily COVID-19 rapid test onsite.
Additionally, we encourage registrants to test for COVID-19 before they arrive to any of the Orlando events.
Networking Passes
are for NMHC Members ONLY
Member firms can purchase Networking Passes for $500.00 each.
(Not sure if your firm is a member? Check our Member Directory.)
What are Networking Passes?
NMHC realizes that many firms would like to send more people to the Annual Meeting than they are allowed under our registration caps. To support those needs, NMHC offers Networking Passes that allow additional employees to be onsite at the hotel and gain limited access to the event.
This includes additional employees who would like to access designated networking areas as well as corporate event coordinators onsite to plan private events.
NOTE: In order to be onsite at the hotel during the NMHC Annual Meeting, all individuals must display an official NMHC meeting badge.
- 2022 NMHC Annual Meeting Registration badge
- 2022 NMHC Emerging Leaders Annual Registration badge
- 2022 Networking Pass badge
Security will prohibit any individual without an official NMHC meeting badge from accessing the NMHC meeting and event areas.
There is no limit to the number of Networking Passes an NMHC member firm can purchase; however it is important to understand what access they provide before purchasing one.
Who can purchase a Networking Pass?
Only NMHC member firms can purchase a Networking Pass. Non-members are not eligible to purchase Annual Meeting Networking Passes or full registrations and will not be allowed on hotel grounds during the Annual Meeting.
What vaccination or health requirements are required to attend on a Network Pass?
Networking pass holders must adhere to the same health and safety protocols as all other Annual Meeting attendees. This means either providing proof of vaccination or providing a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of attending the event. Individuals without proof of vaccination will also be required to undergo daily COVID-19 tests. More information is available here.
What can I access with a Networking Pass?
Networking Pass holders are PERMITTED
in the following areas:
- Designated networking areas with unreserved tables
- Hotel grounds
- Firm-hosted corporate events held at the meeting site
- NMHC Annual Women’s Event
Networking Pass holders are NOT ALLOWED to attend:
- NMHC Meeting Sessions
- NMHC Committee Meetings
- NMHC Breakfasts, Receptions and Dinner
Can I get a refund if I am unable to go?
No. Refunds for Networking Passes are not available.
Can I register for the NMHC Women's Event if I only have a Networking Pass?
Yes. Any woman registered for the NMHC Annual Meeting (including Networking Pass holders) or the NMHC Apartment Strategies Conference can register to attend the 2022 NMHC Women’s Event. Learn more about this important networking opportunity here.
I am registered for the 2022 Apartment Strategies Conference, does that count?
No. If you would like to remain on the grounds after 5 pm on Tuesday, January 18, you must have one of the official NMHC Annual Meeting badges identified above.
How do I reserve a hotel room if I purchase a Networking Pass?
Networking Pass registrants may make lodging arrangements using the NMHC centralized hotel reservation system. When you purchase your pass, you will receive instructions on how to reserve a room in your confirmation email.
Because rooms are very limited, there is no guarantee that space in NMHC’s room block will be available for all Network Pass holders. If you cannot reserve a room through the centralized hotel reservation system, you can add yourself to the official NMHC waitlist and/or make your own hotel reservation at other hotels in the area.
What else do I need to know?
- No complimentary Networking Passes are available to NMHC members or sponsors.
- No corporate or custom badges will be permitted on the premises.
- Anyone found obscuring or modifying an NMHC Annual Meeting badge will be asked to surrender their badge and leave the premises.
Networking Passes are no longer available for purchase online. Employees of member firms may purchase onsite starting Monday, January 17 at 11:30 am
