Position Summary
The National Multifamily Housing Council seeks a full-time Web Manager to join a growing technology team. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing the website operations for both NMHC and the soon-to-launch Center for Real Estate Technology and Transformation (CRETT). This person has a strong understanding and demonstrated expertise in web content, usability, architecture, development and design. The manager will work across NMHC and CRETT staff to ensure that the content of both sites are of the highest standard, is up-to-date and is error free.

Essential Duties:
Website Management
- Manage website operation needs for CRETT.org – the new website for NMHC’s Center for Real Estate Technology and Transformation
- Maintain and update NMHC’s website content and microsites, working with NMHC staff to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Train relevant NMHC staff on the CMS and content postings and oversee their quality of work.
- Implement day-to-day updates, including news, events, and program information, building and designing new landing pages as needed for products and resources.
- Maintain and improve the site’s information architecture. Provide recommendations for improved site, design, navigation, structure, database and document processes
- Work with third-party technical vendors to implement web projects and resolve incidents as they arise.
- Assure quality web solutions by developing and completing QA test plans; maintaining project and technical documentation; and providing quality control to all web content and email communications prior to production.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and effectively manage and prioritize content requests from multiple departments with short, frequently changing timelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
Web Analytics
- Implement, review and analyze website analytics, preparing regular and ad hoc reports for NMHC and CRETT staff while making recommendations for program improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data points necessary to track the success of digital campaign efforts.
- Monitor website traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates using analytics tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends, issues and opportunities for website improvement.
- Utilize SEO techniques and best practices to improve the organization's website visibility and search engine rankings.

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0 – 5 years experience in managing web content
- Demonstrated experience in HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS) required.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager or other similar web analytics tools and basic SEO strategies required
- Familiarity with website and marketing technologies such as campaign tagging, tracking pixels
- A strong understanding of web technologies, responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including but not limited to executives, managers and subject matter experts
- Strong attention to detail, copy editing skills, eye for design, thorough follow-through
- Ability to work independently and adjust to frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced working environment
