Rick Haughey spent the last decade or so as the Vice President of Industry Technology Initiatives at NMHC. In the newly created position back in 2012, he was given the dream job of heading up the NMHC technology initiative as the apartment industry was in the midst of a rapid expansion of technology at the enterprise and property level. With the amazing NMHC team, he grew the NMHC Operations and Technology Conference into what is known today as just OPTECH, the premier multifamily technology conference.
Over the years, Rick envisioned and created new member-driven operations and technology committees and created numerous landmark surveys and reports all designed to help the apartment industry move forward in our new tech and innovation-enabled world.
Rick views RETTC as the exciting culmination of years of work and progress by NMHC and is happy to cap off his career serving as a Senior Advisor to the stellar team leading RETTC.
